Begin our journey in Alaska to our final destination, Ushuaia, all to 🚲
with the desire to bring to the local population, prevention , information and help . Thus highlight oral dental care.
In short ; two friends , two bikes , 28000 kilometers, 15 countries, 64 teeth (because we have all our 🦷.), hundreds of toothbrushes and above all thousands of smiles ☺ ! For a big start in the spring of 2022.
It is with evidence that this project was born,
by connecting everything that drives us and
that we share.
The origin of the Crossing of the Smile
At first we didn't know each other. After experiencing events that turned our lives upside down, we each needed to take care of ourselves and rebuild ourselves.
A period of introspection which began a few years ago and which allowed us to open up to the life.
Then there was this need for continue this momentum, to travel, to discover, to meet others. This need has continued to grow in recent years, bringing us to Montreal a little over two years ago.
However, going on a trip is expensive, the van was an idea but we wanted something else, less polluting, more accessible, less expensive, and above all we wanted to highlight the incredible abilities that humans have when they believe in themselves.
Inspired by our loved ones and by many adventurers who share their experience on social networks, we have therefore decided to stop living our dreams by substitution and to take action too.
Both dreamers, perhaps a little utopian, we are motivated by the desire to explore new horizons and to meet other populations: to open up to the world.
We are committed to sharing our knowledge and providing support to local populations, in the hope of making their daily lives more comfortable.
This is how our association la Traversé du Sourire was born.
